Privacy policy

This page says exactly what PractifyUs stores about you and why. It is short because the list is.

What we store

• Who you are: the name and email address your Google account provides when you sign in. We do not see your Google password.
• Your answers at onboarding: the exam you are preparing for, your target year, class and level, and the language you prefer.
• What you practise: the questions you answer, how long each took, the practice papers and tests you sit and how you score. This is what builds your Performance page and the topics it suggests you practise next.
• What you save: the questions you bookmark, so you can find them again.
• Your mentor sessions: the sessions you book, what you write about what you want help with, whether you chose to share your Performance summary, the mentor’s notes afterwards, any rating you give, and any report you make about a mentor.
• What you ask for: every request for questions, including anything you write to the writer in your own words, and every question you report with the Report button.

What we do not store

• No payment details. No payment is taken and no payment details are collected.
• No recordings of mentor calls, and no phone numbers: calls happen at a private link, not by phone.
• No location, no contacts, no device identifiers beyond what a browser sends to any site.
• No advertising profile. Nothing you do here is sold or shared for advertising.

Who can see it

You can. A guardian can see only what you choose to share with them: you pick the scope when you invite them, and you can withdraw it at any time from Settings. The people who review reported content see the content and the report, not who you are.

What a mentor sees

A mentor sees your first name, the time you booked and what you wrote about what you want help with. They see your Performance summary (your accuracy by subject, the tests you have taken and your focus topics) only if you tick the box to share it when you book, and only for that session. They never see your email address or phone number. A rating you give appears on the mentor’s profile with your first name.

A guardian you link sees the sessions you book: the mentor’s first name, the day, the time and the length. A guardian you link always sees your sessions, whatever else you choose to share with them.

Where it lives and for how long

Your data is stored on servers PractifyUs operates and kept while your account exists. Ask from Settings to delete your account and it is removed thirty days later, with your history, requests, bookmarks and sessions, apart from anonymised counts that cannot be traced to you. Until then you can sign in and cancel the deletion.
